It was my first trip to outside of Malaysia. Setahun yang lalu (i know i should have started my blog a year ago...hehehe). Sebenarnya, bukan pergi bercuti pun...nak pergi tengok konsert Fall Out Boy @ The Max Pavilion. And... since the main plan was to watch the concert, we didnt have much time to go around the city. But i insisted to go to the Merlion Park because it was the only thing i could think of that could be associated with Singapore.
We drove ourselves there (it was a bad idea to drive because we couldnt see any car park space nearby). Since i was the one who insisted going there, Idah decided to wait in the car by the roadside (Thanks Idah for your patience...hehehe).
The Merlion has a lion head and a fish body resting on a crest of waves. The lion head symbolises the legend of the rediscovery of Singapura. The fish tail of the Merlion symbolises the ancient city of Temasek and represents Singapore's humble beginnings as a fishing village. Voila!!!
